What your ride includes
The driver assists with rolling the wheelchair into the vehicle and securing it for travel. Passengers remain seated in their wheelchair during transport.
Drivers do not enter private homes. Arrange any assistance needed inside your home before the driver arrives.
Before you request a ride
What wheelchair sizes can you accommodate?
The stated maximum wheelchair width is 32 inches. The maximum combined passenger-and-wheelchair weight is 400 lb. Confirm your wheelchair dimensions and total weight with HIND before booking.
Can a caregiver come with me?
Yes. Up to two accompanying passengers may ride, subject to seating availability, at $15 per person. Let HIND know when arranging the ride.
Can I bring portable equipment?
Portable equipment may accompany passengers. Tell HIND what you need to bring so the team can confirm space and transportation arrangements.
